With high cliffs jutting out onto the water’s edge, Solana Beach can be tough to access but also provides plenty of private and secluded spaces. Solana Beach is a small coastal community and consists of five main beaches. At the northern most point of Solana Beach is Seaside, which is a great surf spot with an outer reef called Table Tops. Tide Beach includes a reef that is great for tide pooling and has some of the finest sand in San Diego County. Fletcher Cove, also known as Pillbox, can be accessed through Fletcher Cove Park and is a very popular surfer spot.
